Theo tells Bo that Ciara's treasure were wallets she got from her mom. Bo questions Ciara, who finally admits she took the wallets from Hope. Vivian, meanwhile, accuses Carly of trying to kill Bo, since she already killed Lawrence. Carly explains to Hope why she killed Lawrence. Her explanation subconsciously resonates and rattles Hope as it parallels what "Nighttime" Hope feels toward Bo. Hope turns in early, surprised to find her pill bottle is empty. She decides to deal with the matter the next day and takes a pill she finds at the bottom of her purse. She wakes up as "Nighttime" Hope. Thanks to Carly, she now knows what to do about Bo. Carly runs into Vivian and chews her out for accusing her of trying to harm Bo. Vivian is unrepentant. Vivian realized Carly is keeping yet more secrets from her and vows to find out what they are.
Dr. Baker worries about Nicole and Hope, but decides it's safe to leave town. Fay calls Nicole and thanks her for money she sent. Worried about Baker, Nicole cuts the call short. She asks EJ to loan her Marco. When Marco arrives, she tells him to pay Baker a visit.
Rafe learns that nearly all the locations in Nicole's coded diary are empty. He finds one more location that makes him think whatever Nicole is hiding will be there. Meanwhile, Caroline tells Sami if she loves Rafe she needs to follow her heart. Sami bumps into Rafe and nearly tells him about EJ's discussion of marriage. She stops herself when she sees how distracted he is by work, unaware he's trying to find out the reason behind Nicole and EJ's truce. Sami goes back to EJ and he offers her a sincere and romantic proposal of marriage. Later, Rafe shows up at Fay's place of work.
