The Brady family is shocked and overjoyed by Sydney's return. Rafe and Roman get a lead that confirms EJ's story. Instead of taking Sydney to the hospital, however, EJ takes her home. There, Sami overhears Sydney call EJ "daddy." How does she remember him? Rafe arrives and tension escalate. What secret has Sami been keeping from him? Melanie rejects Daniel. Nathan finds emotional Melanie and the charge is electric. Stephanie confides in Chloe, but remains convinced that she did the right thing regarding the letter. Philip wonders if Chloe is upset that she can't be a mom, especially since Daniel is a dad. She claims she isn't, but it's clear that she protests too much. How long can she keep it up?
